For some reason, I just find this portrait absolutely riveting. I have no idea who the woman was, or where the painting is currently located. I know it was part of the Haussner collection auctioned off by Sotheby's in New York in 1999, everything I find now just says it is in a private collection. I haven't even been able to find out very much about Menzler. Does anyone have any information about him, her, or the painting's current location?
