Bernardus Johannes Blommers Dutch Painter (1845-1914)

Blommers focused his painting on depicting the simple life of the peasants and fishermen. The artist was greatly influenced by Jozef Israels. Blommers’s interiors emanate contentment and quiet joy. His artwork was in great demand in his time, especially outside the Netherlands.
